Triptorin 0.1mg (Triptorelin Acetate) Injection is in Injection form.
Each pre-filled syringe contains Triptorelin Acetate 100mcg, equivalent to Triptorelin free base 95.6mg.
Mechanism of Action
It belongs to the group of medicines called GnRH. It is a potent agonist of Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone (GnRH).
It works by inhibiting Testosterone in males and Estrogen in females. Lowering testosterone levels in men helps inhibit growth of cancer cells in prostate cancer.
