Gufigrast 300mcg Injection

Dosage Form and Strength of Gufigrast 300mcg (Filgrastim) Injection:

It is a Recombinant Human Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor (rHu G-CSF) Injection. Each prefilled syringe of 1.0 ml contains Filgrastim concentrated solution IP 300mcg.

Mechanism Of Action:

Belongs to colony-stimulating factors. Stimulates the bone marrow to increase production of neutrophils, helping the body fight infections.

Administration:

Concentrated sterile solution. Administered Subcutaneously or Intravenously. Single-dose prefilled syringe. Use under medical supervision only. Do not self-medicate.

Therapeutic Use:

• Used during cancer treatment (chemotherapy), bone marrow transplantation, and severe chronic neutropenia.
• Neutropenia in HIV patients and before stem cell donation.
• Stimulates white blood cell growth to reduce infection risk in cancer patients.

Usage Instruction:

For Subcutaneous or Intravenous use only. Single-dose prefilled syringe. Keep out of reach of children. Use under medical supervision only.

Side Effects:

• Low platelet or red blood cell levels, Headache, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea
• Unusual hair loss, Tiredness, Muscle pain, Joint pain, Rash
