Guficap 50mg Injection

Dosage Form and Strength:

Lyophilized powder for Injection. Each vial contains Caspofungin Acetate equivalent to Caspofungin 50mg.

Mechanism of Action:

Weakens fungal cells and inhibits growth, preventing infection spread and allowing the body’s natural defenses to eliminate infection effectively.

Administration:

Intravenous use only after reconstitution and dilution. Single-use vial. Use under medical supervision only. Do not self-medicate.

Therapeutic Use:

• Treatment of candidemia, oesophageal candidiasis, other Candida infections.
• Treatment of aspergillosis (lung fungal infection).

Usage Instruction:

Reconstitute and dilute prior to intravenous use. Single-use only. Keep out of reach of children. Use under medical supervision.

Side Effects:

• Rash, Decreased potassium level in blood, Fever, Increased liver enzymes
• Chills, Diarrhoea, Injection site reactions (pain, swelling, redness)
