Ferinject 1000mg Injection

Dosage Form and Strength:

Injection form. Each ml contains Ferric Carboxymaltose equivalent to Elemental Iron 50mg.

Mechanism of Action:

Macromolecular ferric hydroxide carbohydrate complex allows controlled iron delivery to reticuloendothelial cells and iron-binding proteins (ferritin and transferrin), minimizing ionic iron release.

Administration:

Intravenous use only. Use immediately after dilution. Do not self-medicate. Use under medical supervision.

Therapeutic Use:

Iron replacement medicine used to treat iron-deficiency anemia. Iron is required to produce red blood cells that carry oxygen.

Usage Instruction:

For Intravenous use only. Use immediately after dilution. Follow physician’s dosage. Keep out of reach of children.

Side Effects:

• Nausea, Vomiting
• Hypertension, Flushing
• Dark coloured stool
• Dizziness, Headache
• Injection site reaction
