Dosage form and Strength of Cizumab 400mg (Bevacizumab) Injection:

It is in Injection form.
Each 16ml vial contains Bevacizumab (r-DNA origin) 400mg Concentrate solution for Intravenous (I.V) Infusion.

Mechanism of Action of Cizumab 400mg (Bevacizumab) Injection:

It is a monoclonal antibody that attaches to circulating Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) and inhibits angiogenesis, inducing cell death.
It selectively binds circulating VEGF, inhibiting its binding to receptors and reducing microvascular growth of tumor blood vessels, limiting blood supply to tumor tissues.

Administration of Cizumab 400mg (Bevacizumab) Injection:

Use as Intravenous Infusion after dilution.
Discard unused portion.
Do not self-medicate.
Use under medical supervision only.

Therapeutic Use of Cizumab 400mg (Bevacizumab) Injection:

Used in combination with other chemotherapy medications to treat:
– Metastatic Colorectal cancer
– Metastatic Renal Cell carcinoma
– Metastatic Cervical Cancer
– Non-Squamous Lung Cancer
– Epithelial Ovarian and Fallopian tube Cancer
– Hepatocellular Carcinoma
– Glioblastoma

Usage Instruction of Cizumab 400mg (Bevacizumab) Injection:

Sterile, preservative-free solution for I.V. Infusion after dilution.
Discard unused portion.
Do not self-medicate.
Take as directed by the Oncologist.
Keep out of reach of children.

Side Effects:

Rectal Bleeding, Muscle Weakness, Hypertension, Nosebleed, Decrease urine output, Dizziness, Change in taste, Headache, Dry Skin, Chest Pain, Heartburn, Weight loss, Sores in the mouth, Diarrhoea.
