Dosage Form and Strength
Carbotero 450mg/45ml (Carboplatin) Injection is a solution for injection.
Each ml of solution contains Carboplatin IP 10mg.
Mechanism of Action
It is an anticancer medication.
It works by damaging the genetic material (DNA and RNA) of the cancer cells, which stops their growth and multiplication.
Administration
- To be used as Intravenous Infusion after dilution.
- Sterile single dose vial.
- Do not self-medicate the therapy.
- Use it under medical supervision only.
Therapeutic Use
- Treatment of advanced Ovarian cancer and small cell Lung cancer.
- Usually combined with other anti-cancer medicines for better results.
Usage Instructions
- To be used as Intravenous Infusion.
- Must dilute prior to use.
- Discard unused portion.
- Do not self-medicate.

- Do not use if the solution is not clear or contains particles.
