Dosage form and Strength of Capegard 500mg (Capecitabine) Tablet:

It is a film coated tablet.
Each film coated tablet contains Capecitabine IP 500mg.

Mechanism of Action of Capegard 500mg (Capecitabine) Tablet:

It is an anticancer agent.
Inside the body, it converts into 5-fluorouracil, which hampers the synthesis of RNA and DNA in cancer cells, thereby interfering with their growth.

Administration of Capegard 500mg (Capecitabine) Tablet:

Oral use only.
Take dosage as directed by the Oncologist.
Do not self-medicate.

Therapeutic Use of Capegard 500mg (Capecitabine) Tablet:

Used for Breast cancer and colorectal cancer.
Can be used alone or in combination as part of chemotherapy.

Take with food.
