Dosage form and Strength of Avastin 100mg (Bevacizumab) Injection:

It is in Injection form.
Each vial contains Bevacizumab 100mg/4ml Concentrate solution for Intravenous (I.V) Infusion.

Mechanism of Action of Avastin 100mg Injection:

Belongs to antiangiogenic agents.
Monoclonal antibody that binds to circulating VEGF, inhibiting angiogenesis.
Prevents growth of blood vessels feeding tumors, stopping tumor growth.

Administration of Avastin 100mg Injection:

Intravenous Injection.
Single use vial.
Do not self-medicate.
Use under medical supervision only.

Therapeutic Use of Avastin 100mg Injection:

Treatment of Metastatic Colorectal cancer, Metastatic Renal Cell carcinoma, Metastatic Cervical Cancer, Non-Squamous Lung Cancer, Epithelial Ovarian and Fallopian tube Cancer, Hepatocellular Carcinoma, Brain Tumor.
Can be used alone or with chemotherapy.

Usage Instruction of Avastin 100mg Injection:

Given Intravenously.
Initial dose over 90 minutes as IV infusion.
Do not freeze.
Do not self-medicate.
Use under medical supervision only.

Side Effects:

Rectal Bleeding, Muscle Weakness, Hypertension, Nosebleed, Decrease urine output, Dizziness, Change in taste, Headache, Dry Skin, Chest Pain, Redness.
