Alburel 20gm Injection

Dosage form and Strength:

Injection form.
Each bottle contains Human Albumin, Total Protein 20gm/100ml for Intravenous administration.

Mechanism of Action:

Contains human albumin equivalent to normal human plasma. Increases circulating plasma volume by the amount infused and restores blood volume efficiently.

Administration:

Intravenous Infusion only.
Contents must not be used more than four hours after container penetration; discard any remainder.
Do not use if solution is turbid.
Use under medical supervision only.

Therapeutic Use:

Treats Hypovolemia, Hypoalbuminemia in burns, Cardiopulmonary bypass surgery, Hemolytic Disease in New-borns, dialysis patients, and premature infants.

Usage Instruction:

Administer slowly via Intravenous Infusion.
Discard contents not used within 4 hours.
Do not use if solution is turbid.
Use under medical supervision only.
Keep out of reach of children.

Side Effects:

Hives & Itching, Low blood pressure, Difficulty in breathing, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Flushing, Headache.

Lactating Mothers: Unsafe; seek medical advice.

Driving: Generally safe.

Renal Impairment: Unknown; consult doctor.
